I lost my dad in Jan 2009. I got a phone call that he wasn't doing well the day we were shooting the very first calendar. And it all went to hell from there. I feel this post and your haiku strongly enough to make me cry.

I miss my dad so very much and I'm so sorry for your loss but glad that in some tiny way the sex blogger calendar gave you a feeling of community when you needed it. I can't even describe what that means to me.

Hugs.

Producing this calendar with Tess has been a lot of fun these past few years and about this time each year we tell each other this will be the last one. But then we hold that finished product in our hands and throw a kiss ass party where so many in the sex positive community come out to support the calendar that we say 'of course we'll do it again next year.'

When we started the calendar two years ago we came up with the idea to sell personalized dates. I knew many of the bloggers and businesses who bought days and marked that special day with a message. I didn't know you last year when you bought your day or why you chose that particular day. I didn't know you had even heard of the calendar.

This was so very moving to read. I'm sorry for the loss of your Dad. When we finally meet at this year's release party in NYC I'll buy the first round and we'll toast to your Dad.

Thank you very much for mentioning our cast. I'm glad that you are finding valuable info coming from it. While sadly Flagg can no longer contribute we hope that you still find it useful with the info that we talk about. Please also feel free to send questions or comments about things you'd like to hear the guys talk about.
